This is the first time I have done anything like this and did not know what to expect. The knowledge and experience of Julie and her team provided me with practical and easy to implement guidelines to make simple and effective changes to my day to day routine. Julie and her team looked after us all so well with juices, vegie broths, massages, hypnotherapy, cupping, clay masks, yoga, workshops, bush walks and the perfect breakfast – literally breaking our fast. The property was beautiful – pool, spa, sauna, glorious, mesmerising views from 5 star bedrooms. I rested, relaxed, rejuvenated, read a book, wrote a song and made new friends. A Fantastic way to reset and refocus in the tranquility of Hazeldene a beautiful property in the Yarra Vally, approximately 1hr 30 min from Melbourne. Julie is hands on the entire time, making each individual organic cold pressed juices and organic vegetable broth herself. A passionate personal trainer, hypnotheripist, coach and teacher she shares a wonderful insight on exercise, health and nutrition. I had a wonderful time at the retreat and more importantly feel amazing, I would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to do a great detox.
It was a very relaxing and healing experience for me. I have definitely seen measured improvement in my injury and pain levels. Having those few days to both focus on and let go of the tension and pain was priceless. Massage, juices, broth,… everything was great. Big thanks.
The retreat has had a profoundly positive effect on my health and wellbeing. It has been totally transformative. Wish I’d done it 20yrs ago. This was my first health retreat and juice detox. Julie and Deb are perfect hosts, I never felt obliged to join in activities, plenty of time to do your own thing which was heaven. They are both very passionate about health and supporting others, very knowledgeable with their crafts. I would recommend this to anyone who needs timeout and a reboot. Had a great time.
The January 2018 detox retreat was amazing. While there was plenty of activity offered, I never felt pressured to attend anything if I needed to simply rest. Julie is a fantastic host – tuned in to everyone’s needs with calmness, wisdom and humour. I’m already booked in to the June Winter retreat!!
